ADAM POWELL

AWARENOW OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
SPEAKER AND ADVOCATE FOR MS
Picture

You don't realize how strong you are, until you have to be.

Adam Powell

"Don't let this disease define you.

Just try to be a little bit better today than you were the day before and celebrate the small victories. Small victories become something big over time, and I am walking proof of that. The key word there is 'walking'.

Don't ever give up."

"I love that AwareNow is bringing awareness to the world about different causes, especially MS which is very near and dear to my heart."

About Adam

In June of 2019, Adam was diagnosed with primary progressive MS.

By November of 2019, the disease progressed so rapidly and aggressively that he was in a wheelchair, a diagnosed paraplegic. By July of 2020, he had fully come to terms with the condition that he had and how it was changing and affecting his life. He decided that he wanted to walk again, and even though many told him that it would be impossible, he decided he was going to defy all odds, and began his journey to walk again.

Now he shares his story to anyone that will listen about how he defied the odds and is now committed to bringing awareness to living with a life-altering disease and living life to the fullest.
